Call to Musicians and Artists

Joseph and Leticia Cuellar admire, support and recognize local musicians and artists.

Featured Artists:

Neomi Escobar - Inspired by the love of God, her daughter Aniah and mom, Leticia, it wasn't until her senior year in high school that Neomi Escobar discovered her ability and desire to create art. Her first pieces were watercolor, but she soon emerged to oils and mixed medium, her recent favorite, glass. In her words, "my art reflects me as I emerge and blossom in life...taking what was once broken, to something that is now whole". At the age of 26, Neomi works a "corporate" job to support Aniah and herself, but finds it calming and peaceful when she is able to create her art. Select pieces are displayed and available for sale at Broadway Bistro Cafe.

Carol Nguyen - Carol completed her BFA in Communication Designs and BBA in Marketing at the University of North Texas. She has 3 years of professional agency experience in the Dallas marketing/advertising industry. Nguyen is motivated to continue improving and understanding what it takes to create great works of print, interactive and online communications. She currently works as a Graphic Designer at B2B Web Ventures in Uptown Dallas. When the world of technology and computers threatens her sanity, she returns to her artistic roots as a painter to refocus and refresh her mind. Her style and medium of choice are photo realism paintings with black & white acrylic on canvas.

Michael Tillman - Unique and atmospheric, Michael Tillman has been casting his particular style of musical magic since 2000 in DFW and around Texas and the United States. An autodidact of the classical guitar, Michael began performing romantic songs in Spanish at his live performances and soon after added Brazilian and French songs to his repertoire. He also performs a variety of classical repertoire, jazz standards and his own Latin and Jazz inspired compositions.
